Sainte Chapelle du Palais – Paris
This masterpiece of rayonnant gothic style was built during the 13th century and took only seven years to build. The Chapel joined the National protected monuments inventory in 1862 (N°ISMH : PA00086001).
The Sainte Chapelle serves as a nest for precious Christian relics including the Christ’s crown of thorns – brought in by king Saint Louis.
The Chapel counts 13 stained glass windows of 15 meters each, depicting 1113 Old and New Testament scenes – the history of the world until the relics reached Paris.
Maison Lucien Gau manufactured 21 bronze chandeliers featuring coloured wood balls – the latter were carefully handled by our specialized teams for a meticulous mounting operation.
