Sainte Geneviève Library

SAINTE-GENEVIÈVE LIBRARY - PARIS

Famous architect Henri Labrouste initiated the construction of this library in 1843 – the building was achieved in 1850. Located on Place du Panthéon in Paris, the Sainte Geneviève library is part of the French protected monuments inventory (n°ISMH PA00088394).

This large generalistic library is renown for the excellency of its French literature, human and social sciences collections. 

Maison Lucien Gau's talented teams have replicated and restored table lamps for a second time in the library's history, a previous restoration project had been carried out sixty years ago by Lucien Gau’s workshops.
